Wildlife in the Municipalities of the Basin: A Challenge for All of Us
which will take place on Thursday 30 January 2025
from 11:00 to 14:00
at the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Athens (50 Akadimias Street).
The workshop is addressed to municipal officials and citizens and aims to highlight the importance of biological diversity in cities and to set the basis for a discussion on the development of actions that will make cities more wildlife-friendly. We look forward to a meaningful discussion on the coexistence of people and wildlife in the urban fabric.
The workshop is part of the project “Care and reintroduction of wild animals – contributing to the implementation of EU policies on urban biodiversity”. The project is funded by the Green Fund, through the Financial Programme “Natural Environment & Sustainable Development”. Innovative Actions 2023″ – Priority Axis “Innovative actions with citizens”.
