ANIMA and PESYDAP (Environmental Association of the Municipalities of Athens and Piraeus) invite you to the one-day event:
Wildlife in the Municipalities of the Attica Basin: A Challenge for All of Us
which will take place on Thursday 30 January 2025
from 11:00 to 14:00
at the Cultural Centre of the Municipality of Athens (50, Akadimias street).
The event is addressed to municipal officials and citizens and aims to highlight the importance of biodiversity in cities and to start a conversation about the development of actions that will make cities more wildlife-friendly.
We welcome you to join a meaningful discussion on the coexistence of humans and wildlife in the urban fabric.
The event is part of the project “Care and rehabilitation of wild animals – Contribution to the implementation of EU policies on urban biodiversity”. The project is funded by the Green Fund, through the Funding Programme “Natural Environment & Innovative Actions 2023” – Priority Axis “Innovative actions with citizens”.
